Ivala Havengard

Ivala Havengard was born Ivala Gildenlink, the youngest daughter of Androclus Gildenlink, a prosperous merchant of Barwych. When several caravans outright disappeared, Androclus sought adventurers to aid him. This led to his meeting with Anathar Havengard, who solved the problem of the caravans by slaying some trolls that had taken up residence along the Barwych-Harderyn Crownway. Androclus was so taken with the young man that he betrothed his youngest daughter to him. This turned out to be a good move, as Anathar was knighted by the King of Summerlund.

Ivala is a motherly figure to those who seek her help. She is very much a city person, who would prefer to be living in comfort in Harderyn. She can be very over-protective, particularly to her eldest child Daria, but she means well. Her other children are Ezelan and the late Kidalis of the Fire Wasps. It was recently revealed that Kidalis is not Anathar's son but was born of an affair Ivala had with a knight of House Kassryx. This has led to estrangement between the couple, but what happens from here remains to be seen.
