Kelek

The Human Sorcerer Kelek is said to have originally hailed from the world of Mystara, but his ruthless quest for power has taken him to many worlds. In his youth, he was friendly rivals with the Wizard Ringlerun. When Ringlerun returned from an adventure wielding a Staff of Power, Kelek's jealousy and greed overcame him, and he tried to take the staff in a wizard's duel. Ringlerun soundly trounced his friend but refused to kill him, and Kelek vowed revenge for his humiliation.
Kelek gathered a group of similarly-minded villains, calling them his League of Malevolence. He leads them in a quest for the agregation of personal power, encouraging them to develop and follow their own evil ends, while manipulating them to aid him in his own hungry quest. He is currently believed to be in Zybilna's Palace of Heart's Desire, seeking a way to kill the imprisoned Ringlerun and claim the Staff at last.
