Eradykll
Such a terrible thing that happened in Eradykll. Truly a terrible thing. No surprise it fell of course because of all the Minauran there, but still. It was an unfortunate event. When I first heard rumours of the beast that brought it to the ground, I imagined it causing trouble for our operations. Glad to see my worries have been proven wrong thus far.Eradykll was a small village, only known to people in the local area. Mostly made up of animal farmers with people who mostly kept to themselves not causing any trouble. That was until the village was brought to ruins by the Smog Cloud, a creature accidentally brought into the world by unfortunate events. Before the fall, the village was a passing place to travellers heading East, but now many avoid the location out of fear of encountering the beast as well as staying away from the sadness which lingers in the air.
Demographics
Comprised mostly of Minauran but home to the odd Stone Alum and Sorcerer. Hidden in one of the houses was a safe house for Necromancers just about to travel through the Craters of Crellan.
Infrastructure
Mostly made of cattle and sheep farmers. A single blacksmith lived on the outer edge of the village and a small Church of Hodall stood at the centre of the village.
History
In the year 6007, the small and relatively unknown village of Eradykll became the centre of attention to a creature of destruction. One dark and stormy evening, lightning was striking down at the village, scaring the locals as fires started to spread across the fields.
Hiding away in the nearby trees was a cart of Loose Fume owned by the Cult of Chaos trying to deliver the living potion bottles to a secret location. The powerful force of nature above caused the cart of elixirs and liquid spells to crash releasing about a hundred fumes into the air. Combined with the chaos and fear in the air from nearby villagers caused an abomination to be born. The fumes almalgamated into a giant storm cloud of smog dispersing powerful potions and poisons into the air.
The black cloud of fumes and evil enveloped the village bringing it to the ground with ease. The next morning when the storm had passed and the monster had drifted away, the village of Eradykll was no more. Most of the villagers killed and the others seriously injured with various potion effects.
The creature was named the Smog Cloud of Eradykll a very powerful and real threat. No one is sure of its current location.
Architecture
Simple rectangular buildings, with a foot tall cobblestone base wrapping around the buildings and wooden slats to fill out the rest of the walls. Most buildings have fallen to piles of debris or limping structures with half a wall missing and tall grass shoots poking out from the ground.
Geography
Once a peaceful and good location for cattle and sheep farmers, now a flattened to the ground with the occasional mole hill poking up. The ruined buildings are resting about an hour's walk away from a large crater bowl which marks the start of the area known as the craters of Crellan.
Even on a bright sunny day, the closer you get to the village, clouds starts to circle above turning it in a dull and grey location. Giving a sense of sadness in the air.
