Dinosaur Migrations near Klodorex
Mount Klodor is an isolated not part of a mountain range and the Kahoun of Klodorex is at it's base in a relatively flat area that makes up a gap in the Spine of Sotek mountains.
The surrounding jungles immediately are usually relatively free of large dinosaurs relative to the rest of Lustria but if large land beasts want to pass between the eastern and western sides of the Spine of Sotek mountains, they are going to look for a pass in the moutain range and Klodorex is at the center of a very large pass.
Klodorex periodically has to deal with large beasts such as Stegadons, Carnosaurs and tallosauruses crossing near the Kahoun, while it is unheard for for these beasts to attack Klodorex out right (the sight of structures and combination of strange noises and smells repels most wild animals, even very large ones. Also, wild animals have no real reason to have malicious intent against Klodorex or any other Lizardmen Kahoun.
The surrounding cropland and support buildings are another story. Giant beasts can easily damage buildings (or people) simply by passing through.
A large predator might try to eat some of the First of Klodorex, or more likely head towards the llama pens.
A large herbivore or a group of such herbivores could easily eat the bulk of Klodorex's crops in short order.
To guard against this contingency, the First of Klodorex have Skinks trained to use smoke, noxious odors, and noisemakers to drive unwanted beasts away from Klodorex and it's surrounding crop land.
In extreme cases, rather than repel the beasts away, they can lure the Beast away. Llama blood (or sacrificial llamas) have been used to lure Carnosaur away in the past.
Localization
Individual giant dinosaurs pass through occasionally and minorly inconvenience the First of Klodorex, but occasionally large number of large beasts pass through at the same time. This usually occurs during the transitions between the Monsoon Season and the Dry Season.
During the onset Monsoon Season, many large beast move east through the pass inland. During the onset of the Dry Seaosn, many large beasts move west towards the coastal regions.
