the Jungle of Green Mists

The Jungle of the Green Mist, while still large is one of Lustria's smaller jungles. Located in the northwest corner of Lustria, it is bound to the north by the the Biting Bogs and is bound to the south by the Reeking Mire. It is bound to the west by the sea.
Changes in temperature between the land and nearby sea creates a lot of fog and due to various factors, this fog is frequenly greenish, hence the title "Jungle of Green Mists." The Skinks who come up with names are not especially creative and have a fondness for literal names most of the time.
To the east is a pass in the Spine of Sotek mountains which eventually leads to the Great Jungle, the heart of Lustria's wildlife, so while the Jungle of Green Mists, is small it does cross polinate with Lustria's main jungle so anything found in the Great Jungle could show up in the Jungle of Green Mists.
The Jungle of Green Mists is considered the protectorate of the Kahoun of Klodorex and the Lizardmen therein.
While the Jungle of Green Mists has all the natural hazards Lustria's jungles are famous for, passing through the jungle is a lot safer and easier than slogging through the vast marshlands to the north and south. And yes, the Jungle of Green Mists has plenty of swamps throughout, it is just not defined by its swamps.
While the Jungle of Green Mists lets Klodorex meet most of it's natural resource needs, the jungle attracts few others. Most outsiders who pass through the area are either coming to visit Klodorex or they are coming to attack Klodorex.
