Slann Lord Izzatal

Lord Izzatal was a Slann of the First generation.
Little is known of what he did before the Great Catastrophe. He was not a native to the Kahoun of Klodorex and is not believed to have ever traveled to the northwest corner of Lustria until the Great Catastrophe.
During the Great Catastrophe, Lord Izzatal and his army chose to make their last stand at Klodorex, or more accurately, he chose this intersection of magical ley lines to make his last stand. While his army bought him time, Izzatal harnessed the Winds of Magic from the local ley lines and summoned enough magic to destroy the daemon attackers in the localized areas, sacrificing his life in the process.
Lord Izzatal was memorialized with a giant gold plated bust of his head, known as the Monument of Izzatal, the main landmark in the northwest corner of Lustria.
