Session 5 Report

General Summary

The party finished up with Maccath and proceeded to head down the Host tower of the Arcane. Rhistel stopped to peak into a dorm, but then stopped in at the arcane library inside the tower. The librarian insisted that Rirlox and Aidron stay outside the room, and gave them a ball to play with. Since it was very disorganized, Rhystel and Alys didn't really find anything of use. They then proceeded out the tower, signing out of the guestbook at the reception desk, noticing it's been weeks since the last visitor.
Departed the tower, and decided to head to the Icecutter Tavern. After Aidron ordered drinks, Rhistel and Alys met Palmer Dante and he told him his story. Afterwards, Crezorini the Half-Dragon Captain came into the bar and bought drinks for everyone, winding up the joint. Rhystel then attempted to go up and greet him while dancing, but was very awkward doing so. He told her that he was in fact a kobold, that has been blessed by a red dragon (name pending) and now he's Captain of the Azure Drake. They then went to the corner to talk business where they swapped calling cards. Rhsytel gave a HFH card, and Crezorini a literal playing card with the head of a kobold. Gineca the Half-Dragon Rogue then arrived and challenged Crezorini to another round of the knife game, where she won. She shook hands with Crezorini, then departed. At that time, Alys was pretty sauced, with Rirlox ended up carrying her back to the hotel. As the party departed, Gineca met them outside and escorted them back to their hotel, reminding them the streets are not safe at night. The party got to the hotel where Gineca departed, and the party went to sleep ~1230am. 25 Flamerule: Party departs hotel, with Aidron and Alys picking up Livi's casket, and Rhystel getting the horses. On the way back to Deerborne , the party encountered a group of distraught fishermen whose camp had been attacked by Sahuagins . The party easily wiped them out, with the assistance of the two dragons. The fisherment scrounged up 8 copper for the trouble, but the party found a small pearl worth 50gp.
After returning to Deerborne, Rirlox departed to return to his hoard back in the woods. The party then delivered Livi to Temple to Ilmater at Deerborne and returned to the The Creaking Meadery to balance books and finish the contract with Alys. 26 Flamerule: Rhystel finished copying Livi's journal, and day has just started.
