His tribe will always come first and foremost.  His motivations are typically egalitarian, but understands that he cannot help others until his immediate problems are handled more permanently

He would be considered agile and dextrous by his tribe, which would be average-ish at best among his classmates.  Deception, at least in person to person interaction, is not a forte, to the point of disdain for him, as he would consider it a waste of time.

He likes smaller, steadier expressions of kindness, as those are the actions that build a strong, enduring tribe. He dislikes embellishment and bravado, along the lines of both Kraius and Athalor, though it's more of a disapproval of means than a loss of respect or honor.

Wealth & Financial state

Coming from a communal society, he would likely be considered lower-middle class in the outside world. His needs have never been unmet, though he rarely has been able to have finer purchased goods. He's used to making - literally - his entertainment and being resourceful.

Religious Views

Balvarax is deeply connected to his tribe and family. "Ancestors be praised!" is a common expression of gratitude or excitement. He does not use any focus or object of veneration; instead, his spirituality is centered around meditation and internal centering. His focus on this has left him with a very placid demeanor, able to push through distraction.

Social Aptitude

He does not seek much in terms of social interaction, especially in large crowds. His connections are formed primarily of necessity or specific commonality of interest. He would not shirk social situations, nor would he particularly seek them out.

Mannerisms

Due to his height, keeping his chin level leads to an appearance of haughty-ness, though it is unintentional. He is nearly always surveying his surroundings when not otherwise engaged, and even then to a lesser degree. As he adjusts to his more diverse surroundings, he tries to be more emotive in his communication, though he's still working on it.

Hobbies & Pets

Around school, he is frequently reading up on his alchemy and potioning. He may have crossed paths with Arianna in this pursuit, as herbalism might also be necessary to that. He also would frequently be seen with games and toys and such that test and improve dexterity, due to clumsy dragon fingers.

Speech

He speaks in a slightly slower, measured meter, often seeking the perfect word for the situation. This is also to compensate for the fact that scents and pheromones are typical to dragonborn communication, and he needs an extra second or three to mentally assemble context clues when those are not present.
