Research shows no political opposition to the former President. In the first 8 years, the group was harmonious following his lead. Recently more opinions and voices have joined as more have flocked to Hei. There are different points of view but no one directly opposed him in an aggressive way. Nothing untoward.
 
Marai reports deliveries of 300 bottles of wine to the former president once every 2-3 weeks. As far as we know no company or guests that require frequent entertaining. He was also drunk and lounging in his window, strange for a supposed shut-in.
 
The former President is a doppelganger. Hidden safe reveals a deep conspiracy that he was tracking, partially targeting Marahosho with potential blackmail. Leads that could threaten his station as a politician.
 
Matatara's body was found in a wine barrel, the cause of death = heart attack. Stored in other unmarked wine barrels is 20,000 gold of Dunras trade bars. The leading theory is it's being paid to Hitokiri - an army of elite assassins. Who most likely have a trade route through the forest, as they would not get a shipment like that through Tempis.
