The Rabbit's Foot Casino

Barkeep's future reads Death though he has been thoroughly restrained by two sets of manacles and has been stripped of all of his equipment.
 
Maximus is outside with a contingency of guards preparing to storm the place, looking dishevelled and out of it. Tiefling with no horns (not uncommon with those who wear helmets consistently). Glowing yellow eyes (not uncommon but something noticed until this moment).
 
The casino is not illegal, it is actually a well-known establishment called The Rabbits Foot. Maximus was able to identify it purely by the chip used.
The location is currently under watch by two guards undercover as beggars, each having a shortsword pre-drawn hidden under blankets. Fortunately, we located a garbage chute on the side of The Rabbit's Foot as a point of entry. Unfortunately, we could not make the climb and the noise altered the guards.
 
Matahishi raises a good point that the Barkeep was arrested publicly and without any face covering naturally putting the Casino on edge and high alert.
 
The guards were brutal and efficient, using clubs, though they had various other weapons including a sling. They took down Marai, kicking her in the ribs after she'd gone down. They then fled the alleyway proclaiming that they were being robbed. Ignoring them I went for the casino doors and kicked them open. Inside the tables were overturned to provide cover for three goblins on the main floor. On the upper floor, there are two archers primed and ready.
 
Goblins: given redemption and removed safely.
Archers: One barbecued electrically in the garbage chute, the other was downed non-lethally and manacled.
 
Downstairs has had time to fully and securely barricade themselves.
 
The first small room is trapped with a trapdoor that collapses into a water pit, filling with water.
The second room, reveals Maximus. His form has fully shifted from Tiefling to Aasimar, the new God spoke to him in his dreams. Doppelgangers were separate from the group worshipping The All (Believed replacement of the Unknown God). Maximus says he seeks to bring order to this town, and that The All will remove the Hitokiri threat. He gave us the option for us to travel with him (for months) to a temple on a mountain to the All...we declined.
 
A fight to the death begins.
