  • It can’t hit a maximum and could potentially absorb the magic of all the gods.

  • This fuelled his flying city

  • Abyss holds the most divine energy in terms of planes. They aim to rip through the material plane and then into the heavens. There are 9 of them and 9 gods. Succubus Queen technically Chaotic Good. Abyss functions differently to the heavens. Gods die and they are replaced by someone ascending from the material plane. Demon lords die and they can be replaced b y powerful demons therefore the Abyss forms a power grabbing structure. The Abyss showed that Gods are killable and that divine magic is all powerful. Main takeaway - the Aether Engine is based off of the design of the Abyss and their use of divine magic.
