Elks. And some dancing.

It’s been a weird couple of days. It feels good to have dropped “the order” off at that house. Honestly, they make me feel uneasy. Silas is ok, I guess. I think it’s all this secrecy and information gathering I don’t really get. I just don’t understand them. I guess there is a lot I don’t understand. Like why someone would spend so much time making huge mounds in shapes of animals, and then bury relics in them. Yeah, we found another one. Or that is to say, I found it. I’ll have to thank Denyeses for that x-ray vision, it’s been very useful. Speaking of, I asked him if he knew anything about that Grandfather tree, but he didn’t answer. Still feels weird not having him around. Drogo was talking about the tree moving around, since no one knows where it is. I thought that since a whole island can be moved to the feywilds, why not just a tree?
 
It was nice walking in the woods a couple of hours. I saw lots of beautiful things - a blue bird, a crooked tree that looked like an old man, some very funny mushrooms and a shiny bug. I pointed them out, but Narvi just rolled his eyes, and I couldn’t even see Jay. Maybe it was just me that saw these things, again, I don’t know. About Jay, I can’t wrap my head around that girl. We stopped by Longsaddle, and she and I decided to have some fun for once. So we gambled for a bit (I won some, but hardly enough to make up for all the gold I spent on paper and ink for the rituals) and then went to the inn and drank and danced. Jay really is a spectacular dancer and pulled me up. I think I performed decently as well. I got tired though, and went to bed. And then when I woke up, Jay was in bed with me. I don’t think we did anything, I wasn’t so drunk I wouldn’t remember, but when I commented on her being there she was all embarassed. She wouldn’t even look at me. I wonder whether she’s developing feelings for me, or just is being horny and to young and innocent to express it properly. I suppose I’d better talk to her about it. I’m afraid she could be in danger if there’s feelings involved. I like her a lot, and she is fun to be around. I wish she would talk a bit more about herself though.
 
Anyway, it was decided that we should go looking for this Weevil guy, who apparently has been robbing and murdering people around this parts. Narvi had information that he might have been contracted to take care of a friend of his, who apparently left Longsaddle with a caravan a couple of days ago, so the plan is to follow the caravan with Aurora.
 
I miss my mother. The couple of days I spent with her did very little to make up for the lifetime I’ve been without her. I sent her a message asking how things were going with Keng. I think it’s about time she got some cock that isn’t work. She said things were going fine, so I hope that means she got some.
