The Conflux Sea
The Conflux Sea is located towards the southeast of Kashura and both separates and connects the southern continent from the population rich regions of Lower Zagesi.
The lands that are considered as part of the region stretch from The Teichomos Mountains in the northwest, through The Tolema Graywoods and The Daedalos Forest, over the island of Dytikas, The Kyrosgrove and The Kashtu Woodlands far into the north of Tirel, including the isles of Mancha and Ambrysis. To the northeast, The Conflux Sea meets The Yambuku Rainforest, a so far unexplored and untouched piece of wilderness, or at least so the people here claim.
The Conflux Sea is known as such for many reasons: For one it is probably the most diverse melting pot of cultures and people’s in all of Kashura, at least in the current day. It is here that the worlds of Zoltai, Elves (mostly Tiravela), Hominids and to a lesser extent Draconids and even the Wildkin tribes of The Daga-Kurum Desert meet, mix and clash. It is here that three of the greatest trade networks of the continent meet, that of The Nezendi River Basin, The Gilded Path of southern Kashura, and The Yurekani Trading Network of The Daga-Kurum Desert. Finally, The Conflux Sea is known for its famously dangerous and unpredictable weather and currents. Typhoons, whirlpools and rapid currents even during the calmer season make it so only experienced seafarers would brave these waters, though the prize is well worth it. While The Conflux Sea has never been known to be a particularly peaceful region, it’s recent history has been dominated by the war between The Conflux Tripact and The Morya Sultanate.
While the weather around The Conflux Sea is generally somewhat chaotic, this comes to extremes during the harsh seasons. Extreme heat waves, floods, tsunamis and thunderstorms plague the land, while typhoons, whirlpools and rapidly changing currents plague the sea.

Climate:
The Conflux Sea sports a generally mediterranean climate, with the first half of the year generally being dominated by dry heat, and the latter by cool rain. Temperatures can range from 40C (104F) during the height of dry season to a little under 0C (32F) in the depths of rain season. Snow is a rarity here, though it is not unheard of during cooler years. While the weather around The Conflux Sea is generally somewhat chaotic, this comes to extremes during the harsh seasons. Population:
The Conflux Sea as a whole probably has slightly over 1.5 million people living in it, making it one of the more densely populated regions of Kashura. Most of that population is concentrated in the lands controlled by Tirel and the city states of The Conflux Tripact.Polities:
The Conflux Sea is nowadays dominated by the city states of The Conflux Tripact, though The Morya Sultanate is currently attempting to break into the sea and contest their claim with their conquests to the south while Tirel, the third power of The Conflux Sea, has so far not intervened.Landmarks:
