Hospitality Guild Ward

The Hospitality Guild Ward is located right at the north end of Hollow's Point, just west of the main gates. Jenethen Bristlebottom, the current Guildlord, is also the head of the Hospitality Guild. She is a bright, community-oriented Gnome who is eager to smile and shake a friendly hand. However, she is not one to be taken advantage of, and she is quite adept at maintaining a friendly stance while not giving in to pressure. She genuinely believes that by bringing in more people to the city who want to visit, shop, and hopefully reside there, business will continue to grow, while increasing prosperity within the city. There are many folks who think she has her head in the clouds and does not see what is important, but she is hoping to foster a long-term engagement with the people of Hollow’s Point. Artistic endeavours, entertainment, and community service, in Jenethen’s eyes will help to bring about a renaissance to Hollow’s Point.   The Fairgrounds takes up a large portion of the Hospitality Guild Ward and is a popular spot for picnics and get togethers when not in use by the city. Jenethen is looking to encourage more fairs and parades during her year as Guildlord, and so far she has been successful in putting together a few with short notice.   The Hospitality Ward has a monastery to Gnurich, named the Hoorik Monastery, that is quite popular for those looking to find themselves, looking to find information, or to broaden their understanding of any particular thing. It was founded by Hoorik Inkclaw, a prominent priest of Gnurich, hailing from Essillion, but he rarely travels there now. They are currently led by Wise Talon Fredericks Bindclaw, an elderly Human who has a rare Aerithian Blue Owl as his companion.   The tavern in the Hospitality Ward is called the Quill and the Quail and it is run by an old member of the Hoorik Monastery named Willis Boondoggle. He recently opened the tavern under new management and many of the old patrons did not frequent his establishment. He has tried to get the members of the government and the monastery to come by and often has special deals for those citizens. He has a trivia game twice a week and he has broadened the topics to be more inclusive to all. It is starting to pick up in popularity.
