Adventurer's Guild

The Adventurer's Guild of Gilaphos is not just an institution; it is the heart and soul of the kingdom's heroic endeavors. Founded two centuries ago by a group of valiant war veterans, known as the Orcbane Envoys, in collaboration with the reigning monarch, the guild has become a revered cornerstone of the kingdom's history and the thriving hub of its adventurers.

The guild's core function is to act as a middleman between clients and adventurers. Adventurers can become guild members by applying for membership, receiving the prestigious guild license that allows them to take up quests provided by the guild. This system ensures a standard of professionalism among its members. Those who act unprofessionally risk losing their license. The guild also encourages adventurers to undertake pro bono quests as a means of giving back to the kingdom.

Beyond quest assignments, the guild offers numerous benefits to its members. These include discounts and special services at various partner shops throughout the city. The guild's influence and reputation have made it a trusted partner for merchants, artisans, and service providers.

The emblem of the Adventurer's Guild, prominently displayed throughout the guildhouse, is a powerful symbol of the unity between strength and wisdom. It reminds members of their duty to protect the kingdom and its people, echoing the valor and camaraderie of those who founded the guild.

History

The guild's inception was a direct response to the turmoil of the Great War, in which adventurers played a pivotal role in the kingdom's ultimate victory. With the blessing of the King at the time, the Orcbane Envoys sought to create a haven where aspiring adventurers could find guidance, support, and a sense of belonging. Today, the guild remains a testament to their enduring legacy.
