A Meeting with the Matraich d'Silvis

Gilly and Mozakosh meet with Matriach Lysse Lyrriman dSilvis to discuss the events leading up to Malora Bolderhills (Gillys Mother) Death.

An armed escort of The Atheneum Palisade Guard arrive to Quel with The Matriach Lysse Lyrriman dSilvis   She uses a scoll that creates a magic door where they can discuss things in private. She tells Gilly there are things she agreed only to say to you but Mozakosh can attend as well as she is a Curator at The Atheneum as well.   During the meeting, Matriach d'Silvis told Gilly her mother contacted her and they reached an agreement. The Athenaeum would take Gilly in but in the event, that Malora dies or there is a threat to the Library she would have to leave. When she found out her mothers body had been mutilated and that was the reason for a closed casket the threat was too great.   Gilly discovered that being "Bathed in the Blood of a Demon Prince" means she was part of some sort of ritual that would give someone either herself or another great power. Gilly told her of her encounter with the Hag and how the protection is gone temporarily. This troubled Lysse and she expressed concern that this may be how and why she has been a target. Many factors and players are bidding for power and it may be that numerous factions are trying to find her to get more information, gain "the Power" or take it from her or someone else. Some players may include Ivy Hill, Helms Ferry, The Storm Peak Clan at Sunrise Side, or even some other faction unknown.   The Matriarch then enquired about her Brother. This came as a shock to Gilly, she believed she was an only child. Written documents were found that revealed an older brother that had Reginard Bolderhill as the birth father. Only through the power of the Athenaeum did this sensitive info be revealed. It seems he is not a target.   Matriarch urged Gilly not to go to Rockshire and seek out her father for if people are looking for her it would be the first place someone would look to find her. For her safety, it would be in her best interest.   Afterward Mozakosh was reprimanded for her lack of communication with The Lokenvale Athenaeum and was reminded to send regular updates. She also confirmed the existence of the Hrothtorians and the seekers of a first edition print of the childrens story. The reminded her of past transgressions and previous infractions during her stay at the Athenaeum and encouraged her to be better.   Caia asked about changlings and Lysse offered little information about them. Saying they are a mystery and there is no way of knowing how many exist in the world. She has only met 3 in her lifetime. A vendor named Val La Puchelle in Blightfen, a seeker of knowledge at the Athenaeum that was killed she never was able to id her and a woman when she was young that would change for the amusement of children.
