The Whitehill Family

The highly unusual family in charge of the harsh land of Dragontongue. The family is largely composed of dragonborn but has a few Kobold and Lizardfolk mixed throughout, in reflection with their land. While they are combat-focused, they do realized the harsh condition of their land and are trying to find avenues to correct the issue.

Structure

Like most of the royal families, the Whitehill leadership went to the oldest surviving child. However, they do not object to female rulers. If there is no heir, it would then pass to the nearest relative.

Culture

Dragontongue is an exceptionally hard land, where little grows, and clean water is scarce. As such, farms and magic are both high coveted and respected here. Much of the local population are trained hunters, fighters, or gatherers, as they have to be to survive. Therefore, they have little patience of the world of politics or niceties. The dragonborn are the most numerous species and while it's not a cruel attitude, most believe the chromatic dragonborn are more powerful than their metallic brethren.

History

Lady Topaz, a blue dragonborn, took power in 2608 at 50 and ruled until her death in 2669 at 101. She married the white dragonborn, Breeze and had four children: Prye the red dragonborn, Brine the white dragonborn, Bedrock the black dragonborn, and Cyclone the blue dragonborn.   Lord Prye began his rule in 2669 at 61 and ruled until his death in 2692 at 74. He married Blaze the bronze dragonborn and had three children: Spark the red dragonborn, Tear the blue dragonborn, Sunset the golden dragonborn, and Basin the silver dragonborn.   Lord Spark received power in 2962 at 50. He has married Flow the silver dragonborn and had three children: Moonstone the white dragonborn, Light the golden dragonborn, and Hellfire the red dragonborn.

Fighters

The Ofelds and Whitehills have a mutual appreciation due to their respects of strength and battle in both cultures.

Magic/Violence

The Whitehills hold a deep respect of magic, and therefore are interested in the Collwell, though the Collwells think of the scaled family as violent and careless.

Care/Primative

While the Moonstars don't much care for the Whitehills, thinking them primitive and violent, the dragonborn appreciate the care the Moonstars show for their people.

No Help

The Whitehills strongly dislike the Eviers, as they've appealed, asking for financial and agriculture help many times, yet have so far been ignored.

No Help

The Whitehills hold a long-standing hate for the Riverwoods, feeling that the kingly family has merely left them to die in a land devoid of food or good resources.
