The Ancient Ones arrived on the continent they named Anglence from an origin lost to time. At the time of their arrival, Humans were not yet present on the continent. The Arbalat where fairly contained to the area around the current home, and the Veldmathi only resided on Valben Dur.

Military actionFollowing the death of a particularly notable Veldmathi at the hands of young dragon, the Gando-Veldmathi decided to declare war on the dragons in retribution. The war lasted for 30 years only ending when Varil convinced the Ancient Ones to intervene. The war resulted in the creation of the Order of Dragon Riders with Varil as the founding leader.
