Ruby Basin

The Ruby Basin is a small and otherwise mostly unnoteworthy stop alongside a river from the Serpant's Coast. However, the Ruby Basin is named as such due to the gem mines that lie near the village. However, these mines are difficult to excavate, as they are prone to being flooded and collapsing at a moment's notice. The village is mandated by a Sultan who is elected by the locals. The Ruby Basin mines have also been known to also contain Residuum    The population itself is rugged and mostly is geared towards the extraction of rare gems and metals, and fishing the estuaries and rivers that flow towards the end.
