The Celestial Scholars

The Celestial Scholars are the brains of The Holy Kingdom. They gather and collect the divine teachings that their leader, The Diviner, passes among them. Many of the scholars that have spent many years of study in the Halls of Celestial Divining take on jobs as teachers or Liberians for the school.

The Diviner

The Diviner holds a seat on the Guardian Council. They also are the Principle of The Halls of Celestial Divining. The Diviner is selected when the old one passes away. Every Diviner's last vision is of those who will take their place. The decision is final and no one can question it. The heir usually has vision at the same time that becomes "Their Truth". This vision is always how the Diviner will die. It is inescapable and always 100% accurate. They live their lives knowing this Truth and preparing for it.
After learning their truths, The Diviner gains the ability to predict the future with 100% accuracy but the number of visions they have is very low. From the studies made by each Diviner, it is discovered that the title imprints itself on Legendhood seeds. If not already awoken, awaking it and beginning the life of a new Legend. Each Diviner's tree is planted within the Astral Garden within the Vault of Foretold Knowledge. Every couple of hundred years they still grow fruits of prophecy and these fruits are given as rites of passages to those who have received The Diviner's blessing.
All the prophecies that The Diviner and their students produce are stored in the Vault of Foretold Knowledge. Although The Diviner is the only one that knows how to open the vault doors. No one knows when or how they get this knowledge but each Diviner seems to learn how to open the doors. They hold all the prophecies that pertain to The Holy Kingdom including the First Diviner's Ascension/Fall Prophecy. The prophecy that foretells the kingdom's future ascension and downfall. It is the first prophecy that each Diviner reads when they open the vault doors for the first time.

The Vault Of Foretold Knowledge

The Vault of Foretold Knowledge is a storage area of all of the scholar's greatest treasures and knowledge. It sits in the center of the Halls of Celestial Divining, under The Diviner's office. Many never get the chance to see the inside of the Vault, but those that do always come back changed in some way. Living mannequins take care of the contents of the Vault, since once the door shuts, all the air is vacuumed out to keep the items protected from fire. These mannequins usually look like previous Diviners. They do not speak but understand simple instructions and requests.
The Vault also holds The Astral Garden. A small pocket dimension that's the only entrance is in the vault. It leads to an astral sea when the previous Diviners Legendhood Trees are planted. The souls of The Diviners move on but they all are willing to leave their trees behind so that their gifts can still remain to provide guidance to those who remain. Once a century, these trees produce a fruit of prophecy. The Diviner can choose to offer it as a gift for their followers or the other factions. They are know for giving accurate prophecies of the future but some have been known to give visions of the past that has importance for the future.

The Astral Observatory

The Astral Observatory is at the highest point in all of Arus. Requiring a teleportation circle to access it, this Observatory was built on the highest peak of the Sky-splitting Mountains. Built by an old wizard by the name of Tobias Ginth, who wanted to map the skies as well as the outer planes. He constructed a special telescope that had a specific lens that would be able to pierce through the veil of the planes. The first place he looked into was the Astral plane, thus he named the tower the Astral Observatory. In time Tobias would make lens that would peer into the other planes but the name stuck.
Tobias spent many years expanding the tower to hold all of his star maps and notes that he had taken. As his knowledge started to leak into the Academy, many students started taking an apprenticeship under Tobias. With the influx of people in his tower, Tobias constructed a telescope for each plane, and a room for the students to study these planes in. By the end of his life, Tobias had built 26 towers. One for each of the planes and one he kept for himself with the original telescope. When he did finally pass away, the 26 tower containing all his notes and the original telescope disappeared. The Holy Kingdom spent years and hundreds of resources looking for the missing tower but to this day its location remains a mystery.

The Alchemy Wing

The Alchemy Wing is where a lot of the Kingdom's greatest chemical minds come to gather. Being one of the most advanced Alchemy workshops in the world. They work closely with the Astral Observatory to brew a very rare kind of Elixir known as Constellation Elixirs. These Very Rare elixirs have a very large variety of effects and most are known for lasting longer than most potions do. The only problem with these potions is that they can only be brewed during certain times of the year and it takes days to brew just one dose.
With how rare and how difficult these potions are to make, it is very rare for these potions to find their way into the world. It can be sold for an unbelievably high price. So it's no surprise that the Alchemy Wing is heavily guarded. The lab itself is deep in the mountain and in order to reach it, you would have to find your way through the entire academy. Entering without permission finds trespassers dead faster than they can blink.
Many have sought the secrets to creating this potion but many believe that it has something to do with the power of the gods. The only times that these potions leave the Holy Kingdom is either with one of their own going out into the world or as gifts to Kings and Queens of other Kingdoms.
