The Faith Militant
The Faith Militant was a revolutionary concept when it was founded in 606 CE (1 FR). It venerates a single solitary god—the faithful would say the God—Valês, The Lord. Also known simply as Lord. He is all powerful, all knowing, and all seeing, even if He makes his presence known in mysterious ways at the times of his own choosing. Generally venerated by the laity as a single deity, his church teaches that Valês is composed of and comprises the Faces Seven, which are different aspects of His Lordship. These are not different deities, although it's likely they were at some point in the distant past, and their worship was absorbed into the Faith Militant. The Faces Seven and their aspects include:
- Father - Judgement
- Mother - Mercy
- Maiden - Beauty
- Crone - Wisdom
- Warrior - Strength and war
- Plowman - Craftsmanship and agriculture
- The Bastard - Death, disease, all that exists outside the Lord's order
