Matt Murdock
Matthew Murdock (a.k.a. Matt)
In 1992, Tony Stark found Jack Murdock and offered him a job after remembering Matt Murdock from the future. Jack accepted and began working with James Rogers at Stark Industries. James and Jack became best friends.
A few months after the job change, in April, Matt witnessed an out of control truck careening toward the crossing guard in front of his school. Matt pushed them both out of the way but the hazardous chemical waste spilled on him, dissolving his eyes. Jack and Tony witnessed the accident. Jack was the last thing Matt saw. James and Maria Stark met them in the hospital. James intercepted Matt's rage at his loss of sight and redirected it towards training. He became a second father to Matt and trained him to handle both his anger and his new abilities.
A few months later Jack met Pepper Potter when Tony made her his PA, also from the future knowledge. She was in Witness Protection hiding from a mob hitman. When the hitman found her, Jack, James, Tony and Nick Fury saved ehr life. She moved into the same apartment building as Jack and Matt and carpooled with Jack to work. Matt started joining the Stark Family at Stark Manor after school while his father worked with Tony and James.
In 1995, Matt met Jessica Jones and they became best friends. She went to his school and her father worked at Stark Industries. She scorned the bullies who isolated Matt and cajoled him into the Girl Scouts troop, by first making him friends with the whole group and them the whole group pressuring the adults. Although he never could be an official member of the group, Matt joined in all activities.
In 1996, Jack married Pepper Murdock, who adopted Matt after his borth mother signed over all parental rights. Later that year, Jessica lost her mother in a car accident that also gave her super strength. Matt was the first person she told. When her father couldn't handle her abilities, he transferred guardianship to Pepper for both Jessica and Phil Jones. Jessica and Matt would continue to trian with James.
In 1999, Jack died during a school shooting at Columbine High School while on tour with Tony. The death hit Pepper and Matt hard.
In 2000, Matt tried to commit suicide when his girlfriend explained that dating him was a joke to her. Matt had been uninterested in sex largely, but had tried dating to fit in. Jessica foun dhim with cut wrists in the bathtub and called 911. His father's death on top of his blindness and the kids at school had been too much.
On Sept 10, 2001, Matt was with Pepper, Peggy Carter and Angela Martinelli at the twin towers for a Stark Internatl meeting when the planes crashed. He and his mother helped Peggy out after the initial crash killed Angela. He stayed with Peggy until James collected the entire family.

Special abilities
Although Matt is blind, al other senses are greatly enhanced. Genetic testing showed him to have the metaX gene and likely had this abliity all his life and it would have awakened sometime in his teen years with the right stimulus.

Personal history
Matt was born to Jack Murdock and Margaret Grace in an unplanned pregnancy. Maggie was trying to decide whether to leave the church before taking her final vows. She gave birth to twins, Matt and Mike, but Mike was stillborn. Post partum depression and the loss of her firstborn son sent Maggie into a tailspin. When Jack Murdock found Matt crying and Maggie staring into space, he facilitated her return to the church to become a nun.
Jack Murdock was a boxer and raised Matt alone after that, telling him his mother was dead.
