An indistinct space where any and all can gather when they have no particular destination in mind. It is designed to be comfortable and accommodating to anyone or anything that arrives. Many find it to be particularly reminiscient of a sprawling tavern, though its details are so inconsistent as to discourage any attempt at classifying the area itself.
The Commons function exactly as described - a communal space where anyone and everyone might simply pass through, or stop to take a breath from the incomprehensible "fortress" that constitutes much of the Breach. Sufficient food and drink to sustain a modest lifestyle can be reliably found here - nothing particularly extravagent, just enough to get by and entertain oneself between conversations. Table games and other curiosities likewise make themselves available to those who find a seat; the Commons truly are an endless source of moderately amusing distractions.
