A place of untamed wilderness that extends in all directions, and encompasses all environments. The "fortress" - or at least parts of it - can be observed from anywhere in this place, no matter how far one has travelled into its depths or what direction one is facing.
Careful though. It would seem the act of entering this place is considered an agreement to risk of harm and potential death, and there is quite literally no way of knowing what's wandering around out here waiting for you.
