The Intelligence Agency that serves the Imperium
Structure
Her personal intelligence agency that works out of her citadel, who handle all the managerial business of the Imperium, including intelligence gathering, Tax Collecting, Food and Water, Power, bookkeeping, finances, etc. They are led by Tamamo's Minister of Interior Defense.
Many "sections" make up the Bureau, each handling a specialized task. "Section 13" is a ghost Section, and is either not believed to exist or be some highly secret Governmental Section dealing with top-secret things. Each of the sections is made up of Officers who report to a central "High Seer", who rules the section and reports to the Minister themselves, and manage the numerous Agents who make up the section they govern.
Normally can only be commanded by Tamamo and her Minister, but on rare occasions the council has given orders to them that have been obeyed. They are highly autonomous, and they have mostly free reign to make the call if the Council's or anyone else's requests or orders are worth obeying, though they always listen to Tamamo first and foremost.
Only low ranking leadership and agents of the Bureau are allowed to live outside of Tamamo's Citadel in the capital of Kitsunheim. All others live and work inside it.
Public Agenda
The Bureau serves as The Eastern Imperium's intelligence organization, and constantly monitors and keeps an eye out for information regarding threats to the country or its people, either future or current threats. They work in the darkness to protect the citizens of the country they all serve.
Assets
As the official intelligence organization of The Eastern Imperium, The Bureau's assets are considerable and more importantly, unknown. They keep such things highly secret, but considering they are a state-sponsored organization, their assets make up hundreds and thousands and maybe more Agents who carry out a myriad of tasks for the Bureau's various Sections, each working to carry out a different set of orders or tasks. They undoubtedly have many more assets, but these are mostly unknown.
History
The Bureau was founded alongside The Eastern Imperium as Tamamo-No-Mae's eyes and ears that would range across the entire country and beyond, giving her the information and intelligence she needs to run her country and keep it safe from all threats, both internal and external. Ever since, they have silently carried out their duties and kept watch on all threats both internal and external.
