Session 7: Friends Ahoy Report

General Summary

This session included some standard shitty pirating, as well as some excitement on what appeared to be a deserted island. You went through the normal day to day you have come to expect on Day 10 of your adventure. In the evening you spoke with Sandara Quinn and Ambrose "Fishguts" Kroop who gave you a little more insight into why the pirating has been a bit sparse. Some of them reminded you that you have been here less than two weeks, and the ocean is pretty big. You then went about your merry way for the remainder of the evening opting to entertain or gamble. Artemis Sindarin tried to garner more of Sandara's attention to discuss religion and was not expecting the massive knowledge dump that she was happy to share. Artemis brought up Valkor and Thor (notice there is no highlighting), but Sandara said there were equivalents in The Olympian Pantheon like Poseidon, Zeus, and Ares. Sandara also briefly mentioned Hades and The Cthonic pantheon. Finally, she took a jab at Artemis informing him that there is also a goddess names Artemis as well. The next day, you were tasked with visiting Jaundiced Jape's Crotch; an uncharted island somewhere in the middle of the Lhazaar Principalities. Seems Barnabus Harrigan wanted some Crab for dinner, and that island supposedly had a lot of it. You took the opportunity to enjoy the day as the weather was perfect and swam out to the island. The island was littered with tropical trees bearing bananas, coconuts, and Pineapples. You just began collecting some, when you were beset by three Giant Toad's. Rosie Cusswell was swallowed by one, but you managed to kill it before she made it to the stomach. You quickly dispatched the other Toads with Artemis almost suffering an untimely death if not for the intervention of Magnum Opus. Victorious, you explored the island, collected your fruit, acquired some poison, and finished gathering the crabs before returning to the Wormwood. That evening the crew ate hearty, and you were given a potion for your trouble on the island. Day 12 started pretty normally, although the weather has turned hot. You have begun to so some recon on the officers attempting to gather intel. So far you have been watching Peppery Longfarthing, "Caulky" Tarroon, Riaris Krine, and Patch Patchsalt. All of them seem to have some sort of mystique and it is unclear how you will be able to deal with them should the time come when you are ready to Mutiny. Luckily your assets are beginning to increase, your influence is expanding, and you are continuing to gain experience...
