Trezevant
The village of Trezevant is best known as the location of the primary school for learning for forest elf wizards. Hosting an academy of magical study, the village of Trezevant offers a place for those who endeavor to learn spellcasting to avoid any collateral damage from their studies. Elves spent centuries learning the various schools of magic, and often achieve a level of expertise that humans and other races can only dream of. Wizards of Trezevant are renowned among the elves and greatly respected for their dedication to the advancement of magic.
Demographics
The population of Trezevant consists entirely of forest elves. Even forest gnomes are not welcome here, and the town itself is built into a single tree, rather than a mass of trees like the other elf communities. Unwilling to share the magical secrets of the Feywild, the forest elves block access to this place by anyone not part of the Tenashi Kingdom. Unfortunately, the deaths in the Wingo War has led to the population of Trezevant being nearly halved when compared to its antebellum size.
Government
The government of Trezevant is tied part and parcel into the Trezevant Academy. The Academy controls all affairs in the village, and there is very little functional different between the two. While the Magister will often respect the words of the queen, he or she is expected to make all decisions relating to the Academy and the village around it.
Defences
The entrance to Trezevant is cloaked with magic, and the tree itself is warded against nearly every possible type of harm. Even should the barriers be somehow breached, the wizards present would be more than sufficient to lay waste to all but the most powerful of attackers. The true test of defenses are those internally, designed to prevent extraplanar creatures from breaching the wards during the experiments of conjuration wizards. These include a myriad of charms and protections, all created by the most powerful elf wizards to guard against fiends or fey that could attempt to tempt or corrupt the elves.
Infrastructure
Unlike other communities in the Tenashi Kingdom, Trezevant is held within only a single massive tree, rather than a series of smaller, but still large ones. The village is multileveled, and even includes a ground level, into which travelers from the other villages and Tenashi can enter. The interior is staggering, far outweighing the humble exterior. It is magically lit and adorned with the trophies of the powers of fey magic, and every inch of the walls are covered in carvings that tell the story of the most powerful magic practitioners, both as warnings and inspiration to students. The whole history of the elves, both in Emicara and in the worlds before is told within the tree, a truly astonishing and magnificent artistic feat.
