High Priestess, Shadow Hunter
High Priestess for Var'Bellenaris's Temple of Shevarash, Zyraleth is an Elven woman of Drow heritage, dedicated to the service of the Black Archer.
As a member of the High Clergy in dedication to the Black Archery, she often offers the same representations as the God does: offering guidance on matters of revenge, war, justice, vengeance and loss. While Shevarash is often considered taciturn and emotionless however, Zyraleth is a very passionate individual, serving to the best of her ability with every ounce of her inner strength and dedication.
Unlike the God she follows, and unlike many who worship him, Zyraleth does not hate her people and finds it pitiful that many would close the door on their attempt to reach the light as guided by Eilistraee. She is well aware a great many of her kin are still sworn to Lolth and would not hesitate to enact justice against their wrongdoings, but those who have attempted to return to the sunlight, as she has done, would find mercy and open arms in her presence.
Zyraleth specialises in close quarters combat combat, and oversees the protection of Var'Bellenaris while it traverses between Planes.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Zyraleth is a slender yet toned, short Drow woman, standing no more than 5"5, she is nevertheless not to be underestimated. Incredible nimble on her feet and excellent with any type of ranged weaponry passed her way.
She has waist length white hair which is kept shaved on one side and side swept; her skin is a paler shade of lilac-grey but her eyes bare the standard crimson of the Drow. She has a scar across her nose and is never seen without black warpaint smeared across her eyes, forehead and chin.
She is almost always seen in black leather armour embelished with a silver arrow and tear drop holy symbol on her chest; and has a black bow slung over shoulder.

Personal history
Once a Drow of the Underdark, Zyraleth formerly served as a Priestess to Lolth. Born of a noble Drow family it was expected behaviour of her to follow their footsteps and serve the Spider Queen. She did so faithfully for around two centuries before she became discontent and disconnected with the Goddess, seeing the flaws in Drow society and hearing the call of the sunlight and the Seldarine.
She left, though not without a struggle, and was disinherited by her former family, who swore that if they ever saw her again they would slaughter her and her kin for the betrayal sewn in her absence. Zyraleth didn't care, continuing in her plight to reach the surface despite injuries and wounds from her escape.
When she reached the surface, somewhere in the Empire Of The Clockwork BattleAxe, she was blinded by the sunlight, but felt the warmth on her skin for the first time and knew she had made the right choice. She made her way to the nearest settlement and settled down quietly to begin learning the customs of the surface world. She was shunned by many initially, and eventually made the long journey South to the The Empire of the Rune Keepers, hoping she might better find a place to belong among her own people.
Upon reaching the Elven lands and finding her way to Tor Uviel, she was set on a new religious path by a chance encounter with Finasaer Maelithar - a High Priest of Shevarash. He saw in her the strife she'd overcome and offered her a place to stay in the Temple, while she dwelled there and began learning the ways of the Black Archer she felt the call of clerichood once more, and this time took her vows in servitude to the God of Vengeance.
