Personal history

In the dawn of creation, when the cosmos was but a swirling maelstrom of chaos, there arose Vulotl, the Judge, a figure both ancient and enigmatic. With wings of midnight and eyes that mirrored the depths of the universe, Vulotl stood as the primordial being from which all gods and creatures emerged. As life began to stir and evolve across the vast expanse of existence, other gods emerged, each carving out their own domains and weaving their own tales. Yet, amidst the tapestry of divine beings, Vulotl remained a figure of singular importance, revered as the arbiter of souls and the guardian of the afterlife.   With the passage of time, as mortals traversed the mortal realm and crossed the threshold into the unknown realms beyond, Vulotl took on the mantle of judge, weighing the deeds of the departed and determining their fates in the realms of the afterlife. With impartiality and unwavering gaze, he discerned the true essence of their souls, guiding them to their rightful destinations.   However, as the eons passed and civilizations flourished, Vulotl's role expanded beyond that of a mere judge. Sensing the ebb and flow of magic that permeated the cosmos, he recognized the need for balance and harmony in the delicate dance of creation. Thus, he began to harness the souls of the departed, weaving their essence into the fabric of magic itself to sustain its existence. Through the souls of the departed, Vulotl became the keeper of magic, ensuring its continued presence in the world and preserving the delicate equilibrium between order and chaos.

Morality & Philosophy

Vulotl's morality is not based on good and evil, but more as a tipping scale. Those who do enough good deeds to outweigh their sins will be given a blissful afterlife. Those who do the opposite go to the place of their nightmares. Those who are deemed morally gray or exceptions to Vulotl will be given an unknown fate. No matter where the consciousness of the dead go, however, their souls will be used to fuel magic as a whole.
