Ghi'Nan's Tomb
Ghi’Nan’s tomb, a majestic pyramid nestled near the coast, stands as a testament to her enduring legacy and the unwavering dedication of the Süntek elves. The construction of this monumental structure spanned over a century, a labor of love and reverence for their esteemed friend. They finished half of it and were able to show Ghi’Nan before she passed. She was lowered in and the elves spent twenty more years to complete it. Built from luminous white limestone and reinforced with enchanted obsidian, the pyramid exudes an ethereal glow under the sun, its surfaces adorned with intricate carvings that narrate Ghi’Nan’s heroic deeds and the profound spiritual bond she shared with the Süntek.
At the entrance, towering statues of Ghi’Nan and her Süntek allies guard the way, their features meticulously sculpted to capture their regal and serene expressions. These statues, crafted from polished granite and inlaid with precious gems, reflect the reverence the Süntek held for their departed companion. Inside, the walls are lined with elaborate frescoes depicting Ghi’Nan’s adventures, her battles, and her deep communion with the ancestors. The central chamber, where her sarcophagus rests, is illuminated by soft, magical light, casting a tranquil ambiance over the room.
The sarcophagus itself is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, carved from a single block of alabaster and adorned with gold and lapis lazuli inlays. Surrounding it are statues of ancestral spirits, their eyes set with enchanted sapphires that seem to watch over Ghi’Nan’s resting place. The floor of the chamber is a mosaic of vibrant tiles, depicting the celestial constellations and the phases of the moons, symbolizing the eternal journey of the soul.
Ghi’Nan’s tomb is more than a burial site; it is a sanctuary of history and reverence, a place where the Süntek and the people of Calua come to pay homage to the Hero of Dhara. The pyramid stands as a beacon of unity and remembrance, a reminder of the indomitable spirit of Ghi’Nan and the lasting bonds she forged in life.
