Madestone

Madestone is a city unlike any other in the Caluan Desert. The lush, tropical rainforest that surrounds it is a stark contrast to the desolation of the rest of the region. The people of Madestone are free-spirited and welcoming, with a culture that embraces art, music, and storytelling. The city's winding streets are lined with brightly painted buildings and lively markets, filled with exotic fruits, spices, and textiles from all over the world.   The Magnate of Livestock, Barley Serfson, oversees the thriving ranches that dot the outskirts of the city, where horses and other livestock graze on the abundant grass. The city also serves as a hub for travelers on their way out of the Caluan Desert, with a welcoming inn where weary adventurers can rest and replenish their supplies.   Madestone is not without its challenges. The heavy rains that feed the rainforest can sometimes cause flooding and landslides, and the thick jungle can be treacherous for those who venture too far off the beaten path.
