Grasand
Grasand is a quiet hamlet, located in the transition between the savanna of the northern plains and the sands of the southern desert. The sparse population of mostly Caluan and Vohkin residents goes about their business in a solemn manner. The settlement is surrounded by dry grasslands that stretch out to the horizon, the only sign of life being the occasional herd of antelope. The Border Reeve keeps watch over the few shacks and huts that make up Grasand, but there is little need for vigilance in a place so empty.
There is one point of interest in the hamlet that draws travellers from far and wide: a small, unassuming fountain that never runs dry. The water from the fountain is cool and refreshing, providing the only source of fresh water in a land where dehydration is a constant threat. The locals believe the fountain to be magical, and some even claim that it possesses healing properties.
