Mara Ayay is a small hamlet in the Rhyte province of the Caluan Desert. The town's population is made up of mostly Caluan who worship the Siroccan Pantheon. With the harsh conditions of the hot savanna that surrounds it, the people of Mara Ayay are a hardy and resilient bunch, known for their resourcefulness and determination. The Sandcloak leader of this place, Hodbeald, is highly respected by the community.

Parts of towns are coloured in vibrant dyes as the town hosts a large dye export. Large swaths of blues and reds cover entires neighbourhoods.
