The Talax Mountains1 is a mountain range in northeastern Túlmikkía, west of Vagalkan, south and east of Vevúni territory. Most of the inhabitants are native Taxótans, those in the northern and central part of the mountains are subjects of the empire of Ænadó, while those to the south are independent but under ænatean sphere of influence to some extend, not unlike the Danteks of the Fom Islands.

Geography
The three main rivers originating in the Talax Mountains are Júmsa River to the west, Kalá River to the north and Amrat River to the east.
Fauna & Flora
A number of animals are found in the mountains, including Mountain Tapirs, hares, antelopes, armadillos, porcupines, coyotes, hyenas, toucans, oil birds and bats.
