Reach-1:

• A weapon with Range: Reach-1 adds +d to Melee Attacks made against targets with non-Reach weapons.

• A weapon with Range: Reach cannot be used to full effect when Engaged, instead it uses the profile for a Staff.

Linked-4:

• This weapon can spend aaaa any number of times to perform an additional attack against the target or an adjacent target.

Slashing:

• This weapon can spend an additional a when it scores a Critical Hit to score a Slashing Critical Hit instead.

Military Scythes in Military Units

When equipped by a Military Unit a military scythe is one of many kinds of Polearm, adding the benefits of Reach (+d to Attacks against non-reach enemies; +d to Defence checks against non-reach enemies) to its Melee Attacks as well as adding +dd to Defence checks against Cavalry Charge attacks.
