Sugar Pine Row
The Sugar Pine Row is a notoriously shady area on the west end of the Old Pastel Town Neighborhood District, nestled against the Havenside. It is a densely packed street of bars, gambling dens and pleasure houses, and most importantly an open-air black market trade. Sugar Pine Row is run by the old ship captain and leader of the Hyena Gang, Crim Giant. They are known for being harsh, but fair, although one never wants to be on the wrong side of a deal with Crim. The area is known for its anything-goes attitude towards entertainment and hospitality. Students from the university and traders from the docks can both be seen mingling in the dark halls. Activities here always seem to fall on the grey side of the law. The only reason this side of town goes seemingly unnoticed by the city council is that Crim Giant keeps a firm grip on the crime level (it wouldn't do for unsuspecting university students to end up dead).
