The Windflower Inn
The Windflower Inn is located on the east end of the Butterfly Garden Neighborhood District between Brightin Beach and Arrow Beach. It's tucked away in a corner of the city that makes the whole place feel very private and exclusive. This marble white, Romantic-Period style building was built in 1851 by Avet Gardnir as an inn for traveling priestesses who would come to make pilgrimages at the nearby temple. Avet was a former pilgrim herself, having decided to permanently stay in the city after finding it so beautiful. The Inn was named after Avet's favorite of the sacred seven flowers (even though the Winter Rose Temple is right there. It was quite the scandal at the time; and maybe still to this day, with people suggesting the name be changed every time someone new takes over the Inn).
It's very hard to get a reservation at the Windflower Inn in this day and age, with at least a six-month waiting list to even make a reservation. The current proprietor, Kitty Lefta, is pretty much a marketing pro, and has turned this once beautiful but ordinary inn for religious travelers into the prime, can't-miss, super-exclusive beach resort. They guarantee it will be the most excellent night of sleep you've ever had (and for over 1500 a night, it better be). There isn't another place like it in Gardinya Lyra.
