The Five Dynasties are the five most politically relevant dynasties of the Shou Empire, with each having historical claims to the throne of the Empire. The Five Dynasties consists of the Anzai Dynasty, the Fujiwara Dynasty, the Yamato Dynasty, the Akimoto Dynasty, and the Nishikawa Dynasty.
