Season 2, Turn 01

Days 1 - 15 of First Moon, 408 AC

General Summary

Introductions

  House Ryswell | Eddy
I am Lord Edward Ryswell, knight of honor. I fled to Essos to escape the vengeance of my enemies who bribed the queen to turn a blind eye to the injustice and murder they visited upon the North! Lords Cerwyn and Pryor, known across the realm as liars and oathbreakers have seized my lands! I am known across the realm as a hothead, but also as a man of unimpeachable honor who prefers to resolve his problems with duels! Alas, oathbreakers are well known to steer clear of duels for fear the Gods will stand against them!   I am currently an entry-level knight with the Bank of Braavos but my resume includes "Vanquisher of Starks," "Ignored by the Queen," "Beater of Oathbreakers," and "Walmart Merchandising Associate".   House Oakheart | Jack Handy
Lord Jack Oakheart, a man of 33 and without a family of his own, lives a peaceful life on the shores of the Sunset Sea. He has not fought in any battles and he has not won any tournaments. He wagered a large bet one time in a Jousting tournament and won! Over 900 gold was owed to him from House Ryswell of the North. Unfortunately for him, House Ryswell was thrown out of the Realm and that gold is long gone.... other than that, Lord Jack is content and somewhat happy.   Thenns | Mista Sista
Thenns reporting. Ready to cause problems for any kneelers in our way.   House Vance | Dezzo
"Old Man Vance"   Lord Alon Vance, first of his name, Watcher of Wayfarer's Rest, Lord of Fairmarket and Justman Tower, at the ripe old age of 83, having seen much during his lifetime, including the rise, fall, and rise again of the Targaryen Dynasty, has been ordered by his court maester to remain in his bedchambers as his health worsens, and his speech is reduced to coughing fits between his fits of rage towards his sons, Brendon aged 44, Lord of Hornvale, and Vicky aged 36, Lord of Whitewalls; both bicker over the laws of inheritance whilst their father still breathes. Often times leading to small fights at court in Wayfarer's Rest which amount to nothing but slight bruises, and embarrassment on either side, typically broken up by their sickly father shouting at them to cease their quarrels immediately, though some fear that the split between the Vance family will only grow worse as Lord Alon Vance knocks on death's door.   House Swann | PatMagroyn
Siegfried Swann, known as the ‘Black Swan’, is the Lord of Stonehelm. However, his carefree and reveler lifestyle led him to leave his land’s stewardship to his uncle and depart for livelier locales. He chooses to currently reside in The Red Keep, and is known unofficially as the Court Minstrel, for all the songs he performs for those within its walls.   Free City of Pentoswoolhammer (was and is woolhammer)
House Shepard of Pentos has ascended to the principality some ten years past. After taking a massive gamble to support the then-exiled Targaryens with vast sums of loaned coin, the return on this investment in wealth, trade, and threats has allowed a swift rise, with few challenges that do not end swiftly and bloodily. After a few such “messages,” the disloyal magisters fall silent, or flee the city.   Prince Arland Shepard had run the city the past fifteen years, and has carefully groomed his son Costan, a fearsome Bravo, to be his heir.   House Baratheon | The Kevinator
While many had believed the Baratheon line to have been lost as a punishment for having betrayed the Throne, there had been a small cadet branch that had been sworn to the nearby House Fell. Upon discovery, the heir to the branch pressed his claim to Storm's End, and after giving his oath of fealty was reinstated to the head of House Baratheon. With the shadow of the previous Baratheon line having sent the reputation of the house to its deepest low, the new Baratheon line aims to show that they are not only capable and loyal bannermen, but also hold the very same fury of the storm in their blood as the rulers of Storm's End always have.   Ruled by Lord Satros Baratheon, he has been raising his heir, Juspar, to become a worthy enough knight to one day lead the forces of the Stormlands under the Iron Throne.

Oakheart Tournament

House Oakheart | Jack Handy
In this new year, I renew my vows of loyalty to Queen Visenya Targaryen Ruler of The Realm! May she reign for 100 years!   To celebrate this new year of our Queen... House Oakheart will be holding a tournament at Oakheart Tourney Grounds. An entry fee of 200 gold will be required. The Winner of the Tournament will receive 1000 gold. If you would like to join, please send me a Raven first.   Free City of Myr | Shad0lake
Myr will participate in this tournament.   House Oakheart | Jack Handy
Free City of Myr has sent payment for their entry fee to the Tournament and will compete. Thank you Magistrate.
Only 4 spots left for the Lists! The Grand Prize is now 1300 gold and 200 for runner up thanks to a generous donation from The Iron Bank.   House Pryor | Count Darkwood

My gold has been sent now, you may add Ser Irwyn Cerwyn to the lists, please.   House Footly | Basket Weaver
Jason Footly shall request entry into the tournament!   House Oakheart | Jack Handy
The last slot for the Lists has been filled. Out of respect for the Iron Bank, we will give them a short grace period to either pay for their knight, Ser Edward Ryswell to join or have them pay and the Tournament will begin.   House Costayne | sandman
I will donate 400 to first and 100 for second. We always support the fun a tournament brings. Maybe we can make enough to cover our additional coin to the purse.   House Pryor | Count Darkwood
My money is here now... accept the entry fee of Lord Pryor instead of waiting on promises of an infamous welcher. His outstanding debts to many of the lords of Westeros should not be so soon forgotten, just because some big bank overseas that may or may not be too big to fail is taking a chance on him.   House Ryswell | Eddy
An infamous welcher? As I recall I’m not the one refusing duels, coward! Be that as it may, your cowardly nature is further brought out by the fact that I already paid the entry fee and I’m in the tourney. Have fun in the stands.   House Footly | Basket Weaver
Lord Jason Footly has taken ill, he sends his only son Gordon to the tournament in his stead.   House Cerwyn | Sir Riskalot
See you on the field, Ser Yellowbelly. When you fall off your horse, I suggest you STAY DOWN until I finish my victory lap.

Fleet of the Reach

  House Serry | Orion
I would like to claim Fleet of The Reach. If allowed, I will compensate House Costayne and House Dayne both handsomely. Please message me your stipulations.   House Oakheart | Jack Handy
House Oakheart supports House Serry claim of the Fleet of The Reach.   House Costayne | sandman
Please all, respect my claim on Fleet of The Reach and all ships not of The Iron Fleet East for they are vital to the transport of goods between my regions and I am not sure what dark magic took them from me but I held them when last I looked. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Confirmation of Westerlands Fealty

  House Bracken | Jamhalo
House Bracken requests the public fealty of House Vance of Wayfarer's Rest, House Mallister, and House Frey.   House Vance | Dezzo
Lord Alon Vance, aged 83, Watcher of Wayfarer's Rest, Lord of Fairmarket and Justman Tower, has upon his summons to Stone Hedge attempted this morning to saddle his horse, but reportedly fell and became injured due to fragility in his old age. His maester sends word to Stone Hedge notifying Lord Bracken of Lord Vance's inability to swear fealty in person.   Lord Vance has since been bedridden due to his injury, and his condition worsens still, as fits of coughing now bring mouth bleeds, as his breathing facilities continue to fail.   House Bracken | Jamhalo
Upon hearing news of Lord Vance's tragic fall, Otho requests that a member of House Vance comes to Stone Hedge in his stead to swear fealty.   House Vance | Dezzo
Lord Alon Vance sends his eldest son, Ser Brendon Vance, Lord of Hornvale, in his stead to Stone Hedge to reaffirm House Vance's fealty to House Bracken.   House Frey | Eludros
Lord Raymun Frey, 44, along with his son and heir Vorian, 20, answer the call and travel to Stone Hedge to pay homage and reaffirm their oaths of fealty.

Claims of Essos

  House Ryswell | Eddy
I, Ser Edward Ryswell, claim Andalos in the name of Braavos!   Free City of Pentos | woolhammer (was and is woolhammer)
Pentos claims South Andalos Coastwaters, but will leave Pentosi Traders Route to Westeros.   Free City of Lys | DarkMatter
Claims on Disputed Wastelands, Lyson Lands, and Southern Stepstones.   Free City of Tyrosh | Verus_Dolar
The Free City of Tyrosh will be entering the Step Stones, and asks my fellow neighbors to respect that claim. We are also open to a turn of policy and are willing to form a pact with Myr if they are willing as well. Ravens will be sent to them now.   Free City of Myr | Shad0lake
I claim The Flatlands.   Free City of Pentos | woolhammer (was and is woolhammer)
We will not be respecting this claim, as you already knew the second you made it.   Free City of Myr | Shad0lake
What?

Claims of Reach Fealty

  House Oakheart | Jack Handy
In the spirit of loyalty, I, Lord Jack Oakheart swear fealty to House Costayne. Lord Paramount of the Reach and Hand of the Queen.   House Costayne | sandman
We reaffirm our fealty to the Iron Throne. I am as always at the service of the crown.

Tensions of the North

  Thenns | Mista Sista
Brittlefang, Magnar of Thenn and first chief of the Haunted forests, looks upon the “new” wall and spits with contempt. “These kneelers know nothing of the north, nothing of the old way. I’d feast on their bones, but I may starve when winter comes,” Brittlefang says with a scowl.   House Crowl | Titus Breakwater
Titus Crowl looks upon Eastwatch as he sees his navy making their way to Hardhome to provide relief to refugees who have come from the Land of Always Winter. A frown can be seen on his face. “These are all men that have been condemned beyond the wall for no apparent reason… just for being born on the wrong side… I plan to change things around here now that my oaf of a warmonger father rests 10 feet down the ground.”

Updates from the Iron Throne

House Targaryen | Steffi the Redhead
The Targaryens, with the help of House Dalt, have modernised the Royal fleet that once was sunk at Southern Shipbreaker Bay. That means The Royal Fleet Fleet of The Stormlands Dornish Fleet will all be controlled by Westeros.   And since 2 years have gone by without me doing much else I got pregnant. I got two girls named in the Targaryen tradition Jaehaera and Helaena. One looks like the spitting image of my husband and the other one looking more like House Dalt. But since both got one child out of it they seem pretty content. The children also have been nicknamed: Pain and Terror. They are loud and like fighting, just like their parents.   Free City of Pentos | woolhammer (was and is woolhammer)
Huh. The faith might have some thoughts on that if they hadn’t gotten their absolute shit kicked in…   House Targaryen | Steffi the Redhead
The faith? What do you mean? I am married and have two daughters. That’s all good and proper.   By the way, a special thanks goes to House Costayne for his diplomatic solutions among the Lords of the Reach and the Westerlands. Without him this long period of peace and prosperity could never have happened. That’s why he is The Hand.   House Caswell | nickjones12113
Your Grace, would your grand maester furnish the list of paramounts and council members, my maester seems to have misplaced the appointments and I’d rather avoid berating him about the topic.   House Swann | PatMagroyn
The Black Swan has just finished writing his latest song celebrating the birth of the Kingdom’s two newest princesses. He wastes no time in sharing it within the halls of the Keep.
The beautiful Queen reigns over this town
Listening with her mouth to all around
She has over a dozen duties
As well as lovers
The latest father may not even be her brother
But who'll bring the princesses dinner
Through their many years ahead
I’ll be sure to bring them gifts
Though I’ll have no time to see them fed
  House Vyrwel | Tadashi
Sounds like … caretaking feel. Bravo.   House Cerwyn | Sir Riskalot
House Cerwyn renews its fealty to Winterfell once more, with a Stark on the throne again. He also reaffirms his loyalty to the crown. Hail Queen Visenya, long may she reign!   House Oakheart | Jack Handy
I'm glad you like the Southern Wall, my Queen.   House Footly | Basket Weaver
After many years of work, House Footly has completed the great southern wall, formerly the Tumbleton Wall, it has been named Visenya’s Wall. House Footly was once beaten down to a single farmstead and through the grace of the crown, was protected and able to rebuild. From that point on they pledged to protect the southern borders of the Crownlands.   House Oakheart | Jack Handy
That was a wonderful song Lord Swann! If House Swann is not competing at the Tournament, you must come to entertain the crowds with your songs
