Ammalion
Ammalion is the name of the mainland region where humans first settled on the continent of Aisoa. It encapsulates the area south of the Cradle, and east of the deserts of Holter.
The people who now live here are split between Xeblisau, Huilan Guo, and Zabria.
Geography
Ammalion is a humid region that has a mix of temperate woodland, dry grasslands and savannahs, as well as a bit of tropical jungle on the coast. Southern Ammalion has rich, fertile soil that has lead to bountiful harvest in the farmlands that fill Huilan Guo and Xeblisau. In its north, poor soil lead to simple grasslands with fewer trees.
History
Some time near 6000 BEC, humans arrived in Aisoa from beyond the Dragonsbreath Isles, and settled in Ammalion. Over time, humankind spread far from this landing point, and are now a huge portion of the humanoid population on the continent.
