Place of Spirits

Purpose / Function

It is visited when people want to ask questions of the spirits. It is often visited by Storytellers who are constructing stories. 
It is a place where technology has been found over the years, including:

• Universal Translator
• Weather Seer
• Warmers
• Instant Fire
• Water Breather
• Light Stone

Architecture

No Vellich know why the building came to be, as far as anyone from Vellikka is concerned it has always been there and is as much a part of the landscape as the mountains and the rivers, since the planet was visited by the Great Spirit (see Where The Spirits Come From ).

History

The "Place of Spirits" were built by Jakunguh when they landed on Vellikka and tried to set it up as a holiday destination for tourists from other planets. They were built in many locations across the planet. Being too far off the intergalactic throughfares to be visited, their venture failed and they abandoned the planet, leaving behind the infrastructure and some of the less important / valuable items. 
Millennia later, once the Vellich were evolved enough, they discovered the Places of Spirits, believing they were gifts from a Great Spirit.
