All-Seeing Eye (God Shard)

The All-Seeing Eye is a piece of the soul of Panopticon, the Eyes and Arms. Panopticon relinquished the All-Seeing Eye to Hugo Dargent in order to aid Brambleson, Prince of Rabbits in his plan to avoid the upcoming apocalypse.

Abilities

Ten times per day, the wielder can choose to open the eye to randomly benefit from one of the following effects:
1. Arcane Sight
Allows the wielder to see magical auras within 120 feet, in an effect similar to Detect Magic. However, Arcane Sight does not require concentration and discerns aura location and power more quickly.

The wielder knows the location and power of all magical auras within eyesight. An aura’s power depends on a spell’s functioning level or an item’s caster level, as noted in the description of the Detect Magic spell. If the items or creatures bearing the auras are in line of sight, the wielder can immediately make Spellcraft skill checks to determine the school of magic involved in each. (Make one check per aura; DC 15 + spell level, or 15 + half caster level for a nonspell effect.)

If the wielder concentrates on a specific creature within 120 feet as a standard action, he or she can determine whether it has any spellcasting or spell-like abilities, whether these are arcane or divine (spell-like abilities register as arcane), and the strength of the most powerful spell or spell-like ability the creature currently has available for use.

Arcane Sight identify the properties of magic items, but not artifacts.

2. Detect Alignment
The eye reveals the alignment of an individual creature that it's pointed at.

3. Read Thoughts
You know the surface thoughts of the mind of creatures within line of sight of the eye.

Creatures of animal intelligence have simple, instinctual thoughts that you can pick up. If you read the thoughts of a creature with an Intelligence of 26 or higher (and at least 10 points higher than your own Intelligence score), you are stunned for 1 round and the power ends.

Read Thoughts can penetrate barriers, but 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt blocks it.

4. See Beyond
You attune your mind and your sight to the hidden world of spirits.

You gain a +5 circumstance bonus on Perception checks; this circumstance bonus increases to a +10 circumstance bonus on Perception checks to find invisible creatures or objects, incorporeal creatures or objects, or things that exist only on the Ethereal Plane. Additionally, at any time during the spell’s duration, you can push your ethereal vision even further as a swift action. When you do, you can see through solid objects (as if using a ring of x-ray vision).

5. See Invisibility
The wielder can see any objects or beings that are invisible within the eye's range of vision, as well as any that are ethereal, as if they were normally visible.

Such creatures are visible as translucent shapes, allowing the wielder easily to discern the difference between visible, invisible, and ethereal creatures. See Invisibility does not reveal the method used to obtain invisibility, nor does not reveal illusions or enable you to see through opaque objects. It does not reveal creatures who are simply hiding, concealed, or otherwise hard to see.

6. True Seeing
The eye allows the weider to see all things as they actually are.

The subject sees through normal and magical darkness, notices secret doors hidden by magic, sees the exact locations of creatures or objects under blur or displacement effects, sees invisible creatures or objects normally, sees through illusions, and sees the true form of polymorphed, changed, or transmuted things. Further, the subject can focus its vision to see into the Ethereal Plane (but not into extra-dimensional spaces). The range of true seeing conferred is 120 feet.

True seeing, however, does not penetrate solid objects. It in no way confers X-ray vision or its equivalent. It does not negate concealment, including that caused by fog and the like. True seeing does not help the viewer see through mundane disguises, spot creatures who are simply hiding, or notice secret doors hidden by mundane means. In addition, the spell effects cannot be further enhanced with known magic, so one cannot use true seeing through a crystal ball or in conjunction with Clairaudience/Clairvoyance.
