Exo's Vermin
Exo Handlbender is a strange and often clicking tiefling of a man. His eyes have been somehow changed into compound eyes that more resemble a preying mantis than a man. He's skittish and doesn't ask anyone to come into his shop, though he won't stop you from coming in. Always with the sound of a hiss, not from him. But from the bottles upon bottles of 'fancy' hissing cockroaches. They've been bred in all sorts of color patterns, some polka dot, others striped, most still the reddish hue of the familiar cockroach, but some have hints of beautiful teals and golds that you've never seen anywhere else. Silkwormwear Colony
Wondrous Item
Common Transmutation
This is a whole nest of silkworms that work as constant tailors. Shaping and modifying the silk into outfits on command. But, they are also a delightful pet and should be cared for as all living things need.
Living Garments made out of this material can be altered simply with the sound of a few clicks. The silkworms cocooned within hear it and wriggle about, reshaping the garment. This functions as Shiftweave and can hold up to 5 distinct outfits with corresponding click patterns to call them forth. It is not technically magical and will function within an Anti-Magic field.
If bought Slightly used used it has one of the following outfits already set, if it is Moderately used it has two, roll 1d6 to determine. The remaining slots are available for you to determine yourself with a Weaver’s Tool check using Charisma to determine quality.
1. An elegant ball gown, it glitters in blue and flows well on a dance floor.
2. A uniform, could be from the town watch or private security, a local company, or even a cult. Consult with a DM.
3. A tight body concealing set of black pants shirt and scarves, suitable for stealth.
4. A silk bathrobe of greens and blues, monogrammed with a set of three letters.
5. Masquerade outfit, just shy of the mask.
6. This one is scandalous. Just be careful of using it when you are with company.

Tonguenibbler Isopod
Wondrous Item
Uncommon Necromancy Requires Attunement
This outsized isopod has been cultivated specifically for linguistic purposes. It's a armored, segmented creature of the deep, a parasite that normally eats the tongues out of fish, and remains in its place, feeding off it where the fish can't even hope to get at it. But these are bigger and have been farmed.
When attuned, the Tonguenibbler eats the tongue of whomever possesses it. But it fuses to the bottom of the jaw and acts as your tongue. While so fused you lose the sense of taste. However, you also gain the ability to speak and understand a specific language. Each Tonguenibbler Isopod only knows one language.
When removed and unattuned, the users ordinary tongue is revived and regenerated by the necromantic magic of isopod saliva.
The languages available are limited. Exo's source for these is unknown, but once discovered may provide an opportunity for more language choices at greater cost. Those available in Exo's shop can speak Undercommon and Orc.
When / If available other Standard Languages cost 150gp, and Exotic Languages cost 200gp.

Monstrous Chitin
Trade Good
Common
This material can be harvested from many exoskeleton having creatures. These are the shell plates of Deepbeetles and the ironclad segments of great horrible isopods. It makes suitable material for crafting of light and medium armors in place of metal. Armors crafted with Monstrous Chitin plates weigh half normal and are suitable for druidic use. It can also be broken down into dust and used as flux in crafting metal weapons. This creates a darker blade, but of higher flexibility and strength. Just the kind of thing that is appropriate for holding enchantments. Attacks with such weapons are considered Chitinous.
Cost: 10 gp per pound

Exo's Talisman (Recipe)
Wondrous Item
Common Transmutation, Beetlemancy
There is nothing sharper than a beetle's scythe, at least thats what Exo says. By visiting him at Exo's Vermin you can commission him to co-craft a magical talisman shaped as a scarab. Recipe: 250gp of Monstrous Chitin, finely ground. To be used to sanctify the instruments and participants. 50gp of Unrefined Fungalite. An iron or cold iron talisman worth 20gp, crafted separately with a DC 16 Jewelcrafter or Smith check made with Charisma. It requires 3 weeks of downtime to do the preparation needed once the materials are all assembled. At the end of that time the talisman must be worn and used in a ritual that takes 3 full days. A constant unending fight against chitinous visions using your natural and unarmed attacks. Like an endless training montage that runs day and night until the talisman awakes and enchants to you. The ritual requires a Performance, Athletics, and Persuasion check. The DC is only 10. Failure of one or more rolls adds one day to the length of the ritual and the time gone without rest and allows for another attempt to pass all three.
Exo's Talisman (item)
While wearing this Talisman you gain a +1 bonus to the attack and damage rolls you make with unarmed strikes and natural weapons. Such attacks are considered to be magical and chitinous.

Lexicon Feed (Recipe)
Potion
Uncommon
This feed (once crafted) can be offered to a Tonguenibbler Isopod in order to increase its vocabulary. It takes two weeks for the Isopod to consume a package of Lexicon Feed, at the end of which it gains a second language. Although it has learned the vocabulary, its grasp of the grammatical structure is lacking, but it is enough to get by. The Tonguenibbler permanently becomes an Enhanced Tonguenibbler and has become suitable for further enchantment.
Recipe:
One Tonguenibbler Isopod that has not been enchanted, Brine Shrimp left to swim spinal fluid (Can be collected from any vertebrate monster with a DC 14 Medicine check and a glass water tight container), A small aquarium made of glass tempered with Monstrous Chitin (Can be crafted with 1 day of downtime by someone with Glassblowing Tools with Charisma, DC 16, each attempt consumes 50gp of Monstrous Chitin.) The aid of a person who knows the desired language and knows the Encode Thoughts cantrip must spend two days offering their vocabulary. Encoding thoughts of words and their meaning into magical strands which are then dropped into the Brine Shrimp aquarium, each shrimp taking on one thought. At the end of two days the shrimp have each learned one word and are ready to be freeze dried, or fed to the Isopod fresh
Required Proficiencies: DC 13 Nature or Animal Handling check every 3 weeks, failures add 3 weeks to the process but do not increase the cost
Crafting Time: 6 weeks
