The Great Lift
The Maendros River creates a natural border between the lands of Asturia and the Crimson Lowlands to the west. On this border, one and a half day’s travel from the city of Kalm, stands the Great Lift. This wondrous device was constructed with engineering savvy of the dwarves, the mechanical genius of the kobolds and the resourcefulness of the Asturian people. This massive machine can transport large quantities of men and materials between the upper, eastern side of the cliffs to the badlands over a mile below.
