Morogari (Morro-GAR-ri)
The Morogari live in a small human kingdom between Gorlmark and the Rygan mountains. They have a long history with the kingdom of Sarkara, to their south east. In the Golden Epoch, most of Morogar was wild country, with primitive tribes vying for control with eachother and with nature, but then explorers from Sarkara came up along the coast and settled there. Eventually, the King of Sarkara declared Morogar his, and for many years all of Morogar was part of Sarkara. But the independent Morogari were hard to govern, and by the time the Second War of Ashes had ended and the dust had settled Morogar had broken off from Sarkara. In the Silver Epoch the Morogari have begun to emerge as a stronger nation, but they are still a people mostly concerned with survival in the harsh lands of north western Sildair.
Morogar is a feudal society, in which most make their living as farmers, although logging has emerged as a big industry, as has mining. The Morogari are also proud of their whiskey, and brewing is considered an artform among them.
The Morogari are mostly humans, with some hill dwarves mixed in. They tend to have pale skin, but hair colour ranges from blond to black or dark brown.
The Church of Light is strong in Morogar, though not as strong as in Sarkara. Pauragus, Anira and Ethelaius all have followings in Morogar, and there is a circle of druids near Loch Bannoc who worship Rhya as well.

The Morogari speak Sarkaran, though in some rural areas with such a thick accent and unique expressions and words, that it can be hard for some native Sarkarans to understand them.
