Greenfield

Greenfield is a small village nestled at the foot of the mountains between Lunaire and Srendell . It is between Kip and Featherdew north to south and between Uo Ennore and Morelaine west to east.

Government

Greenfield has no formal government of its own as it falls under the domain of Kip, but the region is contested by Morelaine. There is a townmaster named Josselyn deGrey who oversees the settlement's basic affairs and checks in with Marigold Weatherbee.

Industry & Trade

Greenfield is a small and young village, and mostly trades local grain and livestock with those who travel along the main roads. A few farms dot the fringes.

Guilds and Factions

Celandine Boffin of the Adventurer's Guild - Kip Branch will occasionally venture here when she's needed.

History

The village was formed near the barracks where soldiers stayed during The Civil War. The barracks and fortifications were destroyed, but the settlement remained.

Points of interest

Dryad's Tree is the largest inn in town and it is managed and run by Shyrrik Kelbella. It is known regionally for its orange honey wine. The ruined barracks occasionally draw treasure hunters, but the place has long been picked over.

Climate

Greenfield is nestled in Crown Valley and has a similar climate to Morelaine and Featherdew. Many types of plants flourish in the mild climate and feed the rest of the country.

Natural Resources

Serines Forest and the Blackrock mountain range are both quite close to Greenfield, so villagers are able to tap into the natural resources that both provide. The volcanic soil nurtures the local farms as well.
