Coppermint

Coppermint is a mining town north and west of the Tellus Mountains on Tinturbean. It grew up around a simple mining site which was opened up by the Third Popular Ascendency in 5301 APC.

The town is built over a natural outcrop where copper seams run close to the surface. There are two large quarries, one of which is now worked out and has been built over with shacks and poor quality housing, leaving only a single site where extraction is still taking place.

The ore is smelted in furnaces on the open side of the prevailing wind direction in the refinery district.
