High Moons
High Moons is a hamlet to the west of the Tellus Mountains on Tinturbean, in the estate of High Moons Manor. It is an unremarkable community in many ways, but it became infamous during the Age of Shadows when it suffered from a remarkably severe infestation of Shadow Suckers resulting in the eventual deaths of more than half of the population before the danger was eliminated. The community recovered only slowly over the next two generations, although these days it is again a peaceful, bucolic location with only a stark memorial stone to inform the casual visitor of this dark period in its past.
