Summercamp Reading Challenge 24'

Catching up on July 2024

Another year of Summercamp done, time to begin my reading challenge.

My Experience with Summercamp 2024

It was a calm year for me, with my experience here on WorldAnvil having dwindled a bit compared to previous years I decided to focus on something else between writing. Commenting.

Rather than force my way to keep adding to Fabulae with articles that end up deleted anyways, I decided to give some feedback and thoughts on other people's works and try to help them get their ideas going. So if some of you saw my comments, I hope my stuff helped you all a bit.

Beyond that, my goal was at first just to get bronze, but I decided to push it for silver and I'm really happy I was able to do so. My article quality probably isn't the best but I see Summercamp more for writing articles, not making them look good in the first place.

The Future of The Fabulae Anthology

Right now, not much will be changing with how the Fabulae Anthology's writing schedule changes between challenges. Trying to fill some gaps here, clean up an article there, really just keep things cleaned up between the big events while seeing what I can write about next.

I really don't want to push my creative juices out until absolutely needed, so don't expect much new articles and more revamps and reworks of old stuff.

Enjoy your post-summercamp rest everyone!

Honourable World Mentions

Oniran By Jontaro

Jon's world is my perfect example of what I like seeing in worldbuilding: good writing, great art and a simple imagination that opens itself up to more questions and ideas. Really the art alone is what sells me on it, I cannot recommend them enough! Go follow them right now!

Clarkwoods Literay Universe by Eccbooks

E. Christopher Clark makes quite an unique world taking inspiration from fairy tales and other folklore, and spins it into a fun, imaginative takes. Easy to digest articles presented in a clean way I really enjoy! I highly recommend their work (and support their work if you can as well).

Thank you for the kind words! I'm wishing you all the luck in the world on your goals!!!

While I would love to go on an adventure, writing them is enough for me.

Thanks for the inclusion in such awesome company Endrise.

Check out some of my summer camp articles, like the dangerous flying jackalope or dragon wasps. Or, for something more light-hearted, there is the whimsical language Gobbledygook and Jaden's interesting job as a guano polisher.

Thank you for mentioning me among such great articles - glad you enjoyed meeting the gem ferrets.

Sit down, my friend, and let me tell you of Aran'sha . A world where the sands shift and the stars sing, where the wind carries secrets and the twin moons keep silent vigil over it all.
