Eidlish (EYED-lish)
Eidlish are a type of semi-intelligent being from the otherworld of Azgorach; it is not known whether they are a subspecies or a separate species of their own, as this information was never supplied by Xa'aroch. They were common servants of the Host of Selephise of the Violet Accord during the War of the Six as part of the Azgorach Horde, though by no means the most common type, especially once the warlocks managed to create more supplicant servants of their own rather than relying on summons. Nonetheless, at the war's peak around 50,000 Eidlish -- or created equivalents -- served the Host.
Due to their limited intelligence, weak will, and difficulty in communication, Eidlish were often placed under the control of Ba'athorog in order to be usable. Their physical fragility as well as their limited comprehension made them most suitable for simple tasks such as scouting and other subversive information-gathering.
